New Patient In-Office Appointments (Primary Joint Replacement)
If you are a new patient and you prefer a face to face appointment your initial visit will be with a Physician Assistant. They will perform a physical exam, order appropriate testing, and help determine your treatment path (operative vs non-operative). If you are an appropriate surgical candidate, you will meet with Dr. Jacob to discuss your surgical options and determine your appropriate care path.
New Patient In-Office Appointments (Revision Surgery)
If you are a new patient who has previously had a joint replacement and are now having trouble with that joint, we would be happy to evaluate you. Your initial visit will be with a Physician Assistant. They will perform a physical exam, order appropriate testing, and set up an appointment with Dr. Jacob once all testing is complete. This will allow Dr. Jacob to have an informed discussion with you as to the likely causes of your problem as well as possible surgical interventions.
Dr. Jacob and his teamcan evaluate you, review your medical records and previous imaging studies and preform an exam. We can then determine a diagnosis and make recommendations as to your operative and non-operative treatment options. We can also determine if you may be a candidate for robotic joint replacement.
